Responsibilities
The prevention of breakdowns is of prime importance.
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as: transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as: relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices
PLC able to connect and go online, replacing input/output cards
Performs troubleshooting techniques in a logical manner on complex machinery including replacing motors, relays, transformers, and safety relays
Responsible for performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all site equipment as required
Prepare basic dimensioned sketches when required
Reads and understands technical bulletins, manuals, instructions, blueprints, and installs electrical parts in panels
Qualifications
442A with 2+ years of experience in food/packaging manufacturing or any other manufacturing industry.
OR
309A with 2+ years of experience in food/packaging manufacturing.
Willing to work continental night shifts 6pm to 6am, 84 hours bi-weekly
