Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Measure, analyze, and improve production processes with a heavy focus on product flow and line balancing.
Standardization: Establish labor standards using MOST and time-study methods; develop Lean Manufacturing standards across the facility.
Facility Design: Develop, revise, and implement equipment and process layouts using AutoCAD.
Documentation: Create and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, Value Stream Maps, and detailed project timing plans.
Project Management: Oversee the validation and verification of new processes to ensure they meet capability requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with production personnel to help identify and execute cost-saving and process improvement ideas.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a recognized Engineering program (University level).
Experience: 3–5 years of related experience in an automotive or aerospace manufacturing environment is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and time/motion direct labor measurement.
Core Knowledge: Proven understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts, PFMEA development, and Plant Layout design.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; must be a self-motivated communicator who thrives in high-pressure situations.
Reliability: A proven track record of excellent performance, safety, and attendance.
