Schedule: Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) OR Midnight Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Wage: $50 per hour (Single Ticket) $56.30 per hour (Dual Ticket)

Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled inspections, adjustments, and lubrications on high-speed food processing and packaging machinery.
- Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair sudden mechanical or electrical failures to minimize production downtime.
- Safety Leadership: Prioritize a "zero-harm" culture by strictly adhering to LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-out), WHMIS, and strict food safety/GMP protocols.
- Root Cause Analysis: Assess equipment performance issues to implement long-term solutions rather than quick fixes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team and operators to ensure smooth shift handovers and continuous machinery reliability.
Qualifications
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Millwright (Red Seal preferred) OR Journeyman Electrician certification. Candidates possessing a dual ticket are highly preferred.
- Experience: Previous maintenance experience within Food & Beverage, Pharma, or a high-speed packaging/manufacturing environment is a major asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in automation, electrical troubleshooting, or mechanical components like gearboxes, pumps, and conveyor systems (depending on your primary ticket).
- Flexibility: Ability to commit to either the afternoon or midnight shift long-term.
