Responsibilities
The Project Manager owns project outcomes and integrates all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Leadership
Establish and maintain the Project Charter and the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
Orchestrate multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, etc.)
Lead site mobilization, permitting, and work execution in collaboration with site operations.
Serve as the primary interface to asset owners, operations, finance, supply chain, and external partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, chemical, or related).
10+ years of experience delivering large capital projects (> $25M) in heavy industry (aluminum/metals, mining/minerals, pulp & paper, chemicals, energy, or similar).
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to produce executive-level reports.
Mobility: Ability to travel and work extended periods on site. Cross-border (US/Canada) travel eligibility is required.
Bilingualism: Must be bilingual in English and French.
