Responsibilities
Ready to take on this new challenge? Here's a glimpse of your future responsibilities:
- Support outside sales representatives in their communications and in preparing quotes for their clients
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, primarily governmental and municipal entities, and other business partners
- Identify new business opportunities by daily consulting RFP (Request for Proposal) websites in the various provinces covered (primarily Eastern Canada, including Ottawa and the Maritimes, with occasional support for Quebec)
- Conduct targeted prospecting calls in specific markets
- Be on-call occasionally to respond to emergencies
- Achieve sales targets set by your manager
Qualifications
For this position, we are looking for a profile that meets the following criteria:
- Relevant experience: You have solid experience in inside sales and business development, ideally gained in the industrial or construction sectors
- Essential bilingualism: You are perfectly bilingual (French and English), with impeccable English, to effectively manage the Eastern Canada territory
- Desired technical aptitudes: You demonstrate a strong ability to assimilate complex technical concepts. A background in building systems technology or mechanical engineering will be considered a significant asset
- Proficiency in IT tools: You are comfortable with ERP systems and IT tools in general, which are essential for this role
- Performance and service-oriented attitude: You possess a keen sense of urgency to manage critical and unforeseen situations. Your business development focus allows you to retain existing clients and identify new partners
