As an Instructional Designer, you will play a vital role in the Training and Development team, focusing on the end-to-end design and development of engaging online learning materials. You will work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into interactive experiences for a diverse professional audience. This role requires a blend of creative flair, technical proficiency in e-learning tools, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.

Responsibilities
Design & Development: Create innovative, learner-centered e-learning courses using tools such as Articulate Rise, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva.
Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify training gaps and define learning objectives using established design models (e.g., ADDIE).
Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects (typically 5–7 at a time), ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Collaboration: Partner with Instructional Designers, LMS Specialists, and Compliance teams to determine the best delivery methods and shared vision.
Visual Direction: Provide expert guidance on the visual design of learning resources, ensuring they are professional, interactive, and accessible.
Evaluation: Analyze test results and feedback to determine training effectiveness and identify trends for future improvements.
Qualifications
Education: University or College degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in formal instructional design, specifically focused on e-learning development rather than just facilitation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Articulate suite (specifically Rise) and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Core Knowledge: Strong foundation in adult learning principles and the ability to apply accessibility requirements to digital content.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Mindset: A continuous improvement mindset, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Assets: Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
