Supervisor Facilities Engineering – Weekly to bi-weekly interaction to provide project status update.
External Engineering Firm – Daily to weekly interactions as needed to provide oversight on project design activities.
SCM and Vendors – Weekly to monthly interaction to manage material requisitions and procurement cycle
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
Engineering degree (Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, Process Controls) or equivalent experience.
10+ years of engineering and project management experience.
Strong understanding of engineering deliverables and project lifecycles.
Experience delivering oil & gas (liquids, natural gas) and renewable energy projects of varying sizes.
Expertise in instrumentation design, specifications, sizing, procurement, and technical evaluations.
Strong control systems knowledge, including C&E diagrams, alarm management, shutdown systems, control philosophies, I/O assignments, and panel design.
Experience selecting, designing, testing, and commissioning control systems and network communications equipment.
Familiarity with Schneider, GE Rx3i, ControlLogix, and other industrial control systems.
Proven ability to innovate, manage change, and solve complex technical and business challenges.
Capable of independently managing multiple priorities and projects.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Able to communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
