Responsibilities
• Lead and manage multiple Agile teams focused on Planning and Development Services initiatives.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of medium to large technology projects involving complex budgets and staff involvement.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams consisting of internal IT staff, client stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage project resource planning and actively participate in the resourcing of project teams.
• Facilitate critical discussions and mediation to reach consensus among diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Prioritize resources and adjust strategies to handle multiple competing demands effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with groups and individuals holding varying perspectives and roles.
Qualifications
• Minimum of five years of IT project management experience, with at least three years leading medium-to-large technology projects.
• Must reside in Calgary to accommodate the hybrid requirement for on-site presence when needed.
• Strong familiarity with Agile environments; specific experience with SAFe methodology is highly preferred.
• Previous work experience within the public sector or similarly large, complex organizations.
• PMP certification or formal project management training is considered a strong asset.
