Reporting to the Manager, Pipeline Integrity - Mainline West team, as a PM you will be accountable for the development, implementation, and delivery of pipeline integrity projects across our Canadian assets.

What you’ll do
Project Development: Conduct feasibility studies and alternative analysis to assess the viability of the project, including technical, financial, and operational aspects and complete early project development activities.
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution in line with TC Energy's Operations Management System (TOMS) and the Project
Delivery System (PDS). Complete early stakeholder engagements to establish communication channels, set expectations, and ensure their input is incorporated into the project plan.
Clearly define the project objectives, deliverables, and scope to ensure all stakeholders have a shared understanding of the project objective.
Establish and understand the project’s Regulatory and Environmental objectives and document expected post construction commitments.
Develop project plans including, but not limited to: project execution plan; communication plan; risk management plan; change management plan; resource plan; procurement plan; safety management plan; construction management plan; etc.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate the project team, fostering collaboration and ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
Resource Management: Identify and allocate necessary resources, working with the Regional
Team Lead for regional contractor engagement, Construction Management & Inspection (CM&I) for inspection resources, and Supply Chain for material procurement and reservations.
Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits and financial resources are used efficiently.
Change Management:
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring that all changes are documented, approved, and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
Safety Leadership:
Actively demonstrate corporate safety culture, lead safety discussions on projects, and support the onsite site construction activities emphasizing safety and quality.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring minimal impact on project progress while actively managing associated cost impacts.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements through regular reviews, periodic audits, and turnover documentation tracking.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Supply Chain Management:
Work with our integrated Supply Chain team for regional contractor engagement, development of scopes of work, request for proposals (RFPs), and providing feedback on contract related items. Issuance of associated Release Orders (RO) and Purchase Orders (PO) under the correct contracts for the appropriate services and materials required.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring that objectives are met and identifying areas for improvement. Prepare formal reports, address ad hoc inquiries, and provide leadership with project updates.
Issue Resolution: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project, coordinating with relevant parties to implement solutions.
Post Construction Monitoring:
Complete post construction monitoring activities to ensure regulatory and environmental commitments are adhered to.
Portfolio Management:
Support the multi-year scope development, cost estimation, outage requirements, risk identification, and cost refinement for future projects.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement by actively providing feedback to the project leadership team, the PMO, and contractors regarding processes, performance, project activities, and deliverables. Lead the implementation of approved continuous improvement changes on your projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
Technical diploma in a related field of study with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or focus will also be considered
6 or more years of related industry experience, specifically with pipeline integrity projects
Proven project management skills and previous experience successfully executing projects
An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered

This position requires candidates to:
Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
Travel to and from sites for their respective projects
