Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on functional requirements and data privacy rules.
Diverse Testing Cycles: Perform functional, regression, integration, security, and performance testing to validate end-to-end software functionality.
Defect Management: Identify, report, and track software defects using Azure DevOps Test Plans, ensuring clear communication of risks to stakeholders.
Automation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium or Copado Robotic Testing.
Environment Support: Participate in test environment setup, including the configuration and deployment of software components.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging QA trends and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers and business analysts to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure all acceptance criteria are met.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in software quality assurance or related software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
Testing Skills: Proven expertise in manual and automated testing techniques; ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Copado).
Tools: Experience with defect tracking systems and test management suites, specifically Azure DevOps.
Mandatory Certification: Must hold at least one of the following: CSTE, CAST, CTFL, or CSQA.
Education: University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have: Prior experience testing Salesforce applications, AI-based platforms, and working within Agile methodologies using User Stories.
