Intermediate security analyst

You will monitor vulnerability tests on infrastructure and applications, and provide professional opinions and pragmatic recommendations in compliance with established standards, rules, and guidelines. You will examine data and reports to detect underlying trends, significant deviations, and identify the root causes of various issues. You will carry out your professional activities and deliverables in collaboration with other stakeholders in your field or work team.

Responsibilities
Analyze security data and reports to identify trends, significant deviations, and root causes of vulnerabilities.

Prioritize vulnerabilities based on potential organizational impact and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Implement, administer, and maintain security tools to ensure proactive and continuous incident detection.

Oversee vulnerability testing on infrastructure and applications while optimizing related processes.

Design, deploy, and operate technical solutions aimed at preventing and detecting information security incidents.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and services.

Provide professional, pragmatic recommendations aligned with established standards and security policies.

Support teams and end users throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure high-quality service.

Actively participate in team activities (agile ceremonies, reviews, Definition of Done, etc.).

Stay informed on emerging threats and evolving cybersecurity trends.

Assist in updating and enhancing information security policies and procedures.



Qualifications
Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including encryption, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and cloud environments.

Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CISA.

2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a sound grasp of security-related challenges.

Familiarity with Agile and SAFe principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in a collaborative environment.

Experience working with ServiceNow (integration with the VR module is considered an asset).

Automation skills are an advantage and highly valued.
