Responsibilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive architecture artifacts including logical and physical models, C4 diagrams, and data flow views.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLD) that serve as the authoritative reference for delivery teams to execute against.
• Define end-to-end solutions that align with enterprise strategy, technology standards, and long-term roadmaps.
• Establish non-functional requirements for security, performance, scalability, and resilience to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Design resiliency and disaster recovery capabilities, ensuring all patterns meet operational readiness and cyber security standards.
• Facilitate architectural governance by reviewing designs with stakeholders and presenting options to the Architecture Review Board.
• Provide advisory support during the build phase to clarify design expectations and validate that the final implementation matches the intended architecture.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in progressive IT solution design, architecture, or engineering roles.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services, hybrid cloud environments, and integration patterns such as APIs and event-driven systems.
• Proven experience using architecture modeling tools like Lucidchart or Ardoq to document complex systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical risks and architectural trade-offs to both business and technical stakeholders.
