Responsibilities
Comprehensive Test Design: Analyze business requirements to draft, document, and execute detailed test plans, master test strategies, test cases, and real-world test scenarios.
Automation and Manual Execution: Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts while performing extensive manual testing across functional, system, and integration test tracks.
Full-Spectrum Testing Lifecycle: Perform a wide array of testing types, including black box, system integration (SIT), unit, user acceptance (UAT), penetration, security, and load testing.
Defect Triage Leadership: Track, document, and isolate software anomalies, leading cross-functional defect triage meetings with developers and business teams, and producing polished defect summary reports.
Regression Testing Validation: Run comprehensive manual and automated regression test suites to verify that new code deployments do not impact existing application modules.
Database Verification & Test Data: Write and execute complex SQL database queries to validate, extract, and generate appropriate test data sets based on relational DB models.
AODA & Accessibility Auditing: Conduct accessibility testing using Screen Readers, Syntax Checkers, browser toolbars, and color-contrast utilities to recommend code-level remediations in compliance with AODA and WAI-ARIA standards.
Agile and DevOps Integration: Manage test cases, execute test runs, and track platform bugs natively within collaborative Azure DevOps development environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with business leads, QA managers, and developers during application design phases to provide structural recommendations on user experience (UX) and system accessibility.
Qualifications
Systems Testing Seniority: 5 to 10 years of progressive professional experience in systems testing, Quality Assurance, and database validation in web and mobile environments (Strictly Required).
Defect Triage & Reporting Mastery: Proven experience identifying, tracking, and documenting software bugs, leading triage meetings, and producing detailed defect summary reports (Strictly Required).
DevOps Platform Tooling: Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps to map out test scenarios, track execution progress, and manage defect lifecycles (Strictly Required).
Advanced Automation & Manual Testing: 5+ years of dedicated experience performing functional and regression testing through a combination of manual scripts and automated test runners (Strictly Required).
Full-Suite Testing Execution: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience performing diverse validation tracks, specifically black box, security, penetration, load, system integration, and UAT testing (Strictly Required).
AODA & Accessibility Compliance: Proven knowledge of testing for digital accessibility, utilizing assistive tools (Screen Readers, color contrast software) to evaluate HTML5, UX architectures, and WAI-ARIA configurations.
Relational Database Prowess: Strong technical command of SQL queries to validate database schemas and construct clean, mock test data.
Methodological Depth: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps software development lifecycles.
Desirable Assets:
