We are seeking a dynamic Junior to Intermediate Internal Auditor to join a growing team. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, you will contribute to the evaluation of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and participate in internal audit activities to strengthen governance, risk management, and controls within the organization..

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
Assist in annual ICFR scoping and planning, including materiality calculations, process mapping, and risk assessment
Document business processes using flowcharts and narratives
Perform design and operating effectiveness testing on high-risk, complex, or non-routine processes
Conduct SOX walkthroughs and control testing, communicate deficiencies, and follow up on corrective actions
Identify and prioritize internal control deficiencies and provide practical recommendations
Regularly communicate audit progress to management and process owners
Develop innovative testing methods responding to regulatory or operational changes
Collaborate with external auditors to optimize a combined audit approach
Perform risk-based internal audits, evaluating internal controls and business processes
Prepare clear audit reports with actionable recommendations
Support the Director of Internal Audit in investigations and ad hoc requests
Stay current on auditing best practices and techniques
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
CPA or CIA designation required (or in progress)
Additional certifications (CISA, CFE) are an asset
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in audit, risk management, and internal controls
Experience with ICFR (SOX) compliance programs is highly valued
Knowledge of IIA standards and frameworks (COSO)
Experience in multi-site environments and SAP is a plus
Skills in ITGC/automated controls testing are desirable
Skills and Competencies
Fluent English required (spoken and written) or perfect bilingualism (English/French) – international collaboration
Excellent knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance
Ability to work autonomously and adapt in a fast-changing environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new processes and technologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels
Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills
