Responsibilities
As an Internal Auditor, your responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in the planning and execution of the annual audit plan in compliance with regulatory requirements 52-109 (C-SOX).
- Test the effectiveness of internal controls (financial and operational) and document results with precision.
- Lead international audit missions covering a broad spectrum: financial audits, operational audits, and business process reviews.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and special audits with the global audit team.
- Identify potential risk areas and formulate strategic recommendations to strengthen the control environment.
- Act as a business partner by proposing concrete solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
- Participate in investigations related to the whistleblower line and ethics cases, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
- Prepare comprehensive audit files and draft clear, concise audit reports.
- Present findings and recommendations to managers and business unit leaders.
Qualifications
For this Internal Auditor position, you must have:
- A degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A recognized professional designation (CPA, CIA) is an asset.
- Knowledge of SOX is a strong asset.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bilingualism (French and English); given the global nature of the operations, the primary working language is English.
- Availability for international travel (up to 4 weeks per year).
