As a part of a dedicated "pod" of 3 to 6 specialists, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting through rigorous testing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
•Control Testing: Execute testing on a designated inventory of controls, focusing on both Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operating Effectiveness (OE).
•Walkthroughs: Conduct walkthroughs with business owners to understand processes and identify potential gaps.
•Information Management: Issue formal requests for information and manage the collection of audit evidence.
•Stakeholder Communication: Lead or participate in internal status meetings and communicate findings clearly to external audit partners and business clients.
•Reporting: Deliver 2 to 3 completed control tests per week, ensuring all documentation meets the firm’s quality standards by the Friday deadline.
Qualifications
•Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
•Technical Expertise: Proven experience with ICFR or SOX testing, governance controls, and public accounting.
•Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a high workload; strong verbal and written communication skills for managing stakeholder expectations.
•Preferred Credentials: A CPA or CIA designation is considered a strong asset.
•Top-Tier Background: Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
