In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and serve as the primary guardian of inventory integrity. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted position that balances clerical accuracy with hands-on warehouse operations, requiring you to shift seamlessly between data management and physical equipment operation.
Advantages
Schedule: Typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Environment: Primarily based in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits to maintain high data integrity.
-Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
-Data Management: Update inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and investigate any discrepancies.
- Warehouse Logistics: Organize storage areas to ensure proper stock rotation and assist with shipping/receiving documentation.
- Problem Solving: Take a proactive approach to resolving payment and account issues while handling sensitive financial information with confidential
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Experience with WMS or ERP systems is a major asset; basic computer proficiency is required.
- MHE Expertise: Proven experience operating forklifts (certification preferred).
- Physical Capability: Ability to work in a warehouse environment, which includes frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting materials as required.
-Mindset: Strong attention to detail, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
