Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
ERP Strategy & Management:
Lead and manage all aspects of our ERP system, taking full ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.
Leverage your deep experience from past NAV to Business Central migrations to optimize our system, identify gaps, and implement new modules and functionalities.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the ERP system meets operational needs.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
Develop, implement, and enforce a robust cybersecurity framework to protect company data, systems, and intellectual property.
Conduct regular risk assessments, manage threat detection systems, and lead the incident response process.
Ensure all IT activities comply with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
Leadership & Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a long-term IT roadmap that supports business growth and innovation.
Manage the IT department budget, projects, and resources effectively.
Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure & Operations:
Oversee the management of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services (Microsoft 365/Azure), and communication systems for both office and remote construction sites.
Ensure the reliability and performance of all critical IT systems and provide high-level support for end-users.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT management role.
Demonstrated, hands-on experience planning and leading at least one full-cycle Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central migration project.
Expert-level knowledge of developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and incident response plans.
Strong background managing Microsoft-centric environments (Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365).
Assets:
Experience within the construction, engineering, or real estate industry is highly desirable.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
Summary
This role will be an in office positions with 5 days a week in Mississauga.
