Responsibilities
• Coordinate day-to-day activities between Builders' designers, construction teams, and IMIT Solutions Group resources to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop comprehensive plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets for IT relocation work packages using Smartsheet tools.
• Liaise with Technical Services, clinical teams, and other stakeholders, both informally and through formal decision-making bodies, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
• Assist in managing scope changes, making decisions, and implementing schedule adjustments in collaboration with the IMIT Solutions Group.
• Track and manage formal change orders, adhering to PMO processes and procedures, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of IMIT-provided information.
• Oversee IT construction deficiency management, including reporting deficiencies, escalating unresolved issues, and coordinating compliance reviews on-site.
• Provide project status updates to the IMIT Project Director, attend design and construction meetings, review official minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Six (6) years’ experience in working in the IT preferably in an entry level project management or coordinator role outlined in the scope services section.
• Advanced level skills in Excel (eg. experience with pivot tables) but no macro/Visual Basic will be performed nor required.
• Open to rolling up your sleeves to dive into the details to uncover optimal solutions to the IT delivery or IT compliance works and follow through.
• Ability to work and take initiative in an ambiguous, changing / reactionary priorities environment.
• Able to efficiently prioritize and structure clear and unclear workloads.
• Good English language oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in coordinating IT role involving tracking, inspecting, coordinating, following up to completion, and planning, on multiple files simultaneously.
• Healthcare industry experience in the IT areas outlined in the scope of services section.
• Experience working on large scale construction projects, reading, and reviewing drawings for the IT areas outlined in the scope services section.
• Familiarity with using systems for deficiency management and formal document management system experience.
• Experience with Fraser Health Authority and PHSA Technical Services environment.
• Smartsheet experience.
