Complex Negotiations: Execute negotiations for Systems Integrators, Managed Services, outcome-based delivery models, and mission-critical enterprise software.
Stakeholder Partnership: Support demand planning and forecasting by partnering with IT leaders to ensure service continuity and risk mitigation.
Market Intelligence: Apply benchmarking and cost modeling to strengthen negotiation outcomes and inform future strategies.
Contract Governance: Drive value realization and savings through performance metrics, ongoing supplier engagement, and contract utilization tracking.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Monitor supplier performance, lead issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement specifically within IT/Technology environments.
Education: University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Expertise: Proven track record negotiating complex IT Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, SLAs, and service credits.
Professional Designations: SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or an MBA/Postgraduate qualification is considered a strong asset.
Key Skills:
Expertise in Software, Hardware, and TIS (Technology Information Services) categories.
Superior interpersonal and presentation skills with a natural talent for influencing senior leaders.
Ability to manage numerous, often competing interests concurrently in a high-pressure environment.
