Responsibilities
An overview of your position as a Janitor :
•Ensure the general maintenance of the plant's interior and exterior spaces in order to maintain clean, safe premises that comply with established standards.
•Perform daily housekeeping tasks in offices, common areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, cafeteria and other designated areas.
•Clean and disinfect sanitary facilities, surfaces and equipment according to current procedures.
•Make proper use of the tools, equipment and cleaning products provided.
•Maintain the filling of supply dispensers (soap, paper, disinfectant) and report any need for replenishment.
•Conduct inventory of required equipment and inform supervisor of future needs.
•Respond to daily maintenance requests and report any situation requiring follow-up.
•Occasionally perform small, simple maintenance or installation work related to the building.
•Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to support operations.
Qualifications
You are the ideal Janitor if you have :
•High school diploma or equivalent experience
•Ability to lift loads over 30 pounds
•Minimum1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
•Understanding and rigorous application of health and safety rules in the manufacturing environment
•Organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Reliability and consistency in the execution of tasks.
•Ability to work independently.
•Collaborative and respectful attitude.
•Acute awareness of health and safety rules.
