Advantages
Duration: 3 to 4 weeks. Candidates must be able to commit to the entire term, with a firm completion deadline of October 22nd.
Rate: $42.00/hour for Journeyman.
Schedule: Ideal shift is 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Occasional Saturday work may be available.
Overtime: Paid after 44 hours per week.
Responsibilities
You'll be a part of a critical team focused on the electrical components of a major boiler upgrade. Your primary tasks will include:
- Installation and mounting of cable tray.
- Running and pulling new wiring.
- Precise and confident termination of various electrical devices.
- Working safely at height from small ladders or existing scaffolding.
Qualifications
We prioritize safety and compliance. All candidates must meet the following requirements:
✅ Certifications/Tickets (MUST have on start date):
- CSTS-2020
- Fall Arrest
✅ Mandatory Gear:
- Personal Fire Resistant (FR) clothing
- CSA-approved work boots, hard hat, and safety glasses.
✅ Safety Commitment:
- Willingness to conduct a daily hazard assessment (via mobile app).
- Strict adherence to NO LIVE WORK policy.
- Successful completion of a mandatory site orientation on day one.
