A leading heavy equipment rental provider is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their growing Edmonton team. As the electrical expert, you will play a vital role in installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment—from generators and light towers to high-voltage systems and temporary power solutions. Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment
Manage problem-solving from initial diagnosis through to final resolution
Coordinate and execute complex product repairs efficiently
Mentor and support apprentices on the correct use of tools and testing equipment
Enforce and maintain compliance with all site and safety regulations
Apply relevant Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) standards in all work
Qualifications
Certification: Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certification (required)
Technical Expertise: Proven experience working on construction tools, generators, switchgear, transformers, temporary power equipment, and electrical testing gear
High Voltage Experience: Demonstrated ability to test and service high voltage systems
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Safety: Committed to upholding the highest safety standards
