Compensation:
- Competitive Hourly Pay: Earn a top-tier rate of $45.00 – $50.00 per hour.
- Night Shift Premium: An additional $3.00 per hour is paid for all night shift hours worked.
- Overtime: Paid after 44 hours per week.
Shift Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 5:30 AM
- Friday: 2:40 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Expertly assemble and precisely position structural steel components, with a primary focus on ground-level work as an essential part of the construction process.
- Safely and proficiently operate zoom booms and overhead cranes to meticulously move and position large steel members.
- Accurately read, interpret, and translate blueprints and shop drawings to successfully guide and execute assembly work.
- Collaborate effectively with an experienced team within a supportive, fast-paced work environment.
- Adhere rigorously to all site safety protocols and procedures to consistently maintain a secure and incident-free workplace.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Ironworker certification is required (Red Seal endorsement is a significant asset).
- Third-year apprentices are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in structural steel assembly, specifically focusing on ground-level work.
- Proficient operation of both zoom booms and overhead cranes.
- Demonstrated ability to read and accurately interpret drawings (blueprints/shop drawings).
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a reliable, safety-focused individual with dependable personal transportation to the Nisku site (note: the site is not accessible via public transit).
