Responsibilities
Materiality Assessment: Partner directly with output and report owners to identify and prioritize the most critical metrics and line items within each report.
Data Supply Chain Analysis: Decompose material line items into their underlying data elements.
Data Lineage & Documentation: Trace data from its origin to its final destination, documenting system transformations, technical metadata, and business definitions.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with various internal partners, including Data SMEs, Technology teams, and Governance professionals to meet project milestones.
Agile Participation: Operate within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment, attending approximately 5 hours of internal syncs per week.
Issue Escalation: Proactively identify and escalate technical blockers or data gaps that could impact delivery timelines.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
Financial Domain Expertise: Proven experience in Financial Risk sectors (e.g., Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Retail Risk).
Data Lineage Mastery: Strong background in Data Lineage analysis, including the ability to document complex data flows and transformations.
Technical Toolset: Advanced proficiency in Alteryx (or similar ETL/End-User tools) and the MS Office Suite (specifically Access, Excel, and Visio).
Environment Adaptability: Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical business partners.
Nice-to-Have:
Knowledge of Data Controls and Data Governance frameworks.
Direct experience with Data Control Testing.
