Responsibilities
Processing high-volume accounts payable, including vendor invoices and subcontractor payments
Managing accounts receivable, progress billings, and collections
Supporting job costing and project tracking
Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
Assisting with month-end close, including journal entries and accruals
Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple projects or entities
Liaising with project managers, vendors, and internal teams
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in an accounting clerk or AP/AR role
Experience in construction or real estate is a strong asset
Understanding of job costing, progress billing, or project-based accounting (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes
Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems
Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have
Experience with systems such as Sage, Jonas, Yardi, or QuickBooks
Exposure to multiple entities or intercompany transactions
Interest in growing into a full-cycle accounting role
