Responsibilities
Alongside the Controller, you will be at the heart of the production of financial statements and financial analysis, providing key information that guides the company's strategic decisions.
- Prepare, analyze, and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets as well as financial forecasts
- Design and monitor dashboards related to financial performance
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technological tools
- Establish and document accounting processes to enhance their efficiency and compliance
- Take part in transformation and innovation initiatives within the finance function
- Serve as a resource person for operational teams on financial matters
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support decision-making
- Work closely with the Controller and management to support the company's growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA designation in progress or recently obtained (an asset)
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or firm setting
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) is an asset
- Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, and willingness to learn
