Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will notably include:
- Preparing, analyzing, and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Participating in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor financial performance
- Collaborating on the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technological tools
- Standardizing and documenting accounting processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Actively contributing to transformation and innovation projects within the finance team
- Serving as a point of contact for operational teams on any financial matters
- Providing ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Working closely with the Controller and management to support the company's growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA designation in progress or recently obtained (an asset)
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or firm setting
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) is an asset
- Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, and willingness to learn
