Responsibilities
The Junior Financial Controller will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the company's complete accounting;
- Prepare the business unit's financial statements in accordance with accounting standards for private companies;
- Prepare the budget in collaboration with department managers and present it to management;
- Produce monthly and ad hoc analyses of the company's overall financial performance as well as ongoing projects;
- Supervise a small team of analysts and technicians;
- Act as a key player in the implementation of internal controls;
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications
We are seeking the following qualifications for this Junior Financial Controller role:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA designation, a strong asset;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role;
- Experience in an acocunting firm, an asset;
- Decision-making skills and a strong sense of priorities;
- Ability to work independently while working in a team.
