As a junior IAM consultant, you will bridge the gap between client integration needs, modern authentication frameworks, and underlying network infrastructures. Operating within a hybrid work model, you will assist client teams with authentication service integrations, develop clear technical documentation, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and collaborate with cross-functional networking and infrastructure teams. This position is ideal for an early-career IAM specialist looking to expand their expertise in OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth, and enterprise identity security.

Responsibilities
Support client teams with system integrations using OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth authentication protocols.
Document final technical designs, installation steps, configuration settings, and integration guides for each client.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including networking and infrastructure specialists, to align integration architectures.
Provide direct technical support to clients and internal teams with varying levels of technical depth.
Perform API integration activities and troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving firewalls, DNS, and TLS/SSL certificates.
Articulate technical issues clearly and present viable resolution options to technical leads and project managers.
Author physical application design documents, deployment procedures, and integration guides.
Provide regular status updates to project managers and leadership sponsors regarding client integration progress.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & IAM Development Skills
IAM Development Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on identity and access management (IAM) development or integration experience.
Authentication Protocols: Strong working knowledge of OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth protocols.
API & System Integration: Demonstrated knowledge of system integration using standard REST APIs, web interfaces, and network protocols.
Network & Security Infrastructure: Basic understanding of network connectivity (firewalls, DNS) and Single Sign-On (SSO) principles, including TLS/SSL and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Technical Documentation & Support: Proven ability to deliver technical support to clients and produce concise design, architecture, and deployment documentation.
Preferred Assets
Identity Suites & Directories: Exposure to Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite, Microsoft Active Directory, or SAML protocols.
Agile & DevOps Tooling: Experience working in Agile environments using CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, and Confluence.
Public Sector Context: Prior experience in a public sector or enterprise government environment is preferred.
Soft Skills & Collaboration
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Problem Solving & Teamwork: Strong analytical diagnostic skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
