Responsibilities
Precision Kitting: Pick and organize parts, hardware, and fittings into complete, job-specific kits to streamline the manufacturing process.
Quality Control: Rigorously verify part numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure 100% accuracy before materials reach production.
Logistics & Staging: Label, stage, and track kits to ensure a seamless and timely handoff to the fabrication teams.
Discrepancy Reporting: Proactively identify and report shortages, damaged items, or inventory discrepancies to purchasing and warehouse leadership.
Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels of essential consumables, including fasteners, gaskets, valves, and fittings.
Warehouse Operations: Assist with bin organization, material receiving, and regular inventory cycle counts to maintain a high-functioning facility.
Digital Tracking: Utilize ERP and inventory management software to process kit transactions and provide real-time status updates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the planning, production, and fabrication departments to ensure all project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
Industry Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with mechanical hardware, including bolts, gaskets, pipe fittings, and related components.
Blueprint Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and Bills of Materials.
Detail Orientation: High level of accuracy and a sharp eye for detail in high-volume environments.
Digital Literacy: Proficient in basic computer skills; direct experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a significant asset.
Equipment Operation: Previous forklift experience or valid certification is considered a strong plus.
Professionalism: A reliable, self-motivated worker capable of performing independently or collaborating effectively within a team setting.
