Working as a Quality and Colour Lab Clerk (m/f) in this dynamic facility means you are at the heart of production. The job location in Brampton offers the concrete stability you seek in the industrial sector. You will join an intimate quality assurance unit of three to four welcoming individuals. Responsibilities
- Assisting the quality assurance team with daily tasks related to master board control and custom match administration.
- Typing essential data into computer systems and accurately generating complex formulas for production runs.
- Filing the retains every single day and updating history files to maintain perfect documentation.
- Cleaning and filing master cards returned from production runs, and handling administrative color match preparation.
- Conducting weekly inventories for ink room consumables and requesting reorders to keep the lab fully stocked.
- Assisting the quality supervisor in obtaining retain samples for investigative reviews and laminate searches.
Qualifications
- Proven administrative data entry experience with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications.
- The ability to successfully pass the Munsell Color Hue Perception test to accurately differentiate shades.
- Highly organized work habits with good communication skills to collaborate with your team.
- Physical comfort performing lab work that involves sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
- Possession of steel-toed boots and comfort working in an industrial setting with noticeable chemical scents.
- A proactive mindset, taking detailed notes, asking clarifying questions, and effectively prioritizing competing tasks.
