We are currently hiring for a Laser cutting operator with CAD/CorelDRAW software experience - for a 3-4 month contract with a possibility for extension and even full-time for the right candidate. If you are a student on an academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do hands-on factory work, we can hire you!
Location: Gurney Crescent, North York, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Pay Rate: $20/h

Responsibilities
- Operate Trotect SP 1500 or PS400 laser equipment to meet design specifications.
- Utilize CAD and CorelDRAW software for file creation and modification.
- Calibrate machinery and adjust parameters for specific material requirements.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance to maintain operational standards.
- Document material usage, production output, and equipment status.
Qualifications
- Experience in Trotect SP 1500 or PS400 operation and CAD/CorelDRAW software.
- at least 1 year of experience in an industrial laser cutting environment.
- Capability to perform dimensional inspections and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Competence in adjusting laser focal points and stop locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- English proficiency and strong collaborative skills.
