Responsibilities
The Alliance Office requires the services of a senior Commercial Architect & Negotiation Specialist with extensive experience in large-scale public sector sourcing, commercial negotiations, managed services transformation, and complex contract architecture. The consultant will lead the development of sourcing options, market engagement strategies, commercial and pricing models, governance frameworks, service accountability structures, and negotiation mandates. Working closely with Health Authority executives, provincial stakeholders, procurement specialists, legal counsel, and industry participants, the consultant will provide strategic recommendations to the Procurement Executive Steering Committee (PESC) on the commercial structure required to enable the successful sourcing and transition of the future Digital Workplace Services program.
Qualifications
The proposed Commercial Architect & Negotiation Specialist must demonstrate direct responsibility for the commercial structuring and negotiation of at least two large-scale IT managed services, IT outsourcing and/or multi-service technology services transactions. Experience must include the design and negotiation of the commercial model for ongoing service delivery, rather than primarily limited to software, licensing, SaaS, cloud subscription, hardware or other technology acquisition agreements.
Demonstrated experience structuring complex IT services arrangements involving SIAM/service integration, multi-provider delivery models and associated commercial governance, including the allocation of accountability across service boundaries and dependencies, preferred.
For each qualifying deal, please describe the approximate contract value, term, scope of services, commercial/pricing structure, service/performance model, key commercial risks, candidate’s personal role, and negotiation responsibility.
Relevant professional credentials or formal training in commercial and contract management, IT service management, SIAM/service integration, complex commercial negotiation, outsourcing or managed services are considered an asset.
Professional credentials will not substitute for demonstrated hands-on experience commercially structuring and negotiating large, complex IT managed services or outsourcing transactions.
