Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service via portal, email, and phone, addressing escalated inquiries within specified timelines.
- Analyze title searches from various provinces and accurately update internal records, consistently applying underwriting guidelines.
- Manage complex files and situations in collaboration with Title Officers and lender representatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of corporate and lender policies, ensuring consistent application by Title Officers.
- Contribute to the development of training plans for new staff and support ongoing cross-training.
- Offer regular, constructive feedback to team members and assist the Manager with initiatives to boost engagement, productivity, and employee retention.
Qualifications
- Law clerk/legal admin program graduate (or equivalent experience).
- 3-4 years of mortgage-related experience.
- 3-4 years managing real estate files independently from start to finish, including funding.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, handle stress, problem-solve, prioritize, and maintain strong attention to detail in a busy setting.
- Intermediate MS Office/Outlook skills, good judgment regarding confidential information, and flexibility for extra hours.
