Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end training programs, including program structure, sequencing, and learning pathways across diverse delivery modalities.
• Develop program-level learning objectives, enabling objectives, and comprehensive assessment strategies aligned with adult learning principles.
• Create and maintain detailed curriculum maps demonstrating clear alignment between program goals, instructional strategies, and evaluations.
• Interpret legislation, health and safety codes, industry standards, and accreditation requirements to translate them into defensible curriculum design specifications.
• Ensure all learning products remain fully compliant, audit-ready, and suitable for formal external reviews.
• Act as the primary design authority by reviewing, validating, and approving instructional designs prior to production or delivery.
• Support evaluation and continuous improvement by reviewing learner feedback, performance data, and course evaluations to optimize quality.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to elicit, structure, and normalize content into organized curriculum frameworks while managing project scope.
• Apply instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to develop instructional materials and storyboards.
• Leverage eLearning tools including Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate to update and develop engaging learning assets.
• Support the organization, publishing, and maintenance of training materials within the LMS while collaborating with system administrators.
• Generate and interpret LMS reports to assess overall learner engagement and training effectiveness.
• Provide consultative guidance and advisory support to internal and external partners regarding learning design best practices and standards implementation.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary diploma, certificate, or degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in instructional design, curriculum design, or learning systems development.
• Demonstrated experience designing learning frameworks for compliance-driven, regulated, or high-risk environments.
• Experience aligning educational programs with external quality or accreditation frameworks.
• Proven track record of collaborating successfully with SMEs to translate technical data into structured learning pathways.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and modern learning management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, personal accountability, and professional integrity.
