As a Legal Technician, you will play a key role in the business administration of the company's commercial real estate portfolio. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of about ten people where cultural fit and teamwork are essential. Your daily responsibilities will focus on drafting legal documents, tracking commercial leases, performing registry searches, and optimizing administrative processes. This is a unique opportunity to thrive in a stimulating environment where business administration and employee development are prioritized.
This position requires an expert level of English, as approximately 60% of your daily business administration tasks will be performed in English. This requirement is necessary to communicate regularly with English-speaking clients, partners, and colleagues located outside Quebec.

Responsibilities
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including lease offers, commercial leases, amendments, and discharges to support business administration.
• Ensure rigorous administrative and legal follow-up on commercial leasing transactions, from negotiation to execution.
• Act as the main point of contact for tenants and brokers to obtain and transmit necessary information.
• Update department tracking tools and business administration systems, such as the legal agenda and rights tracking tables.
• Proactively compile, track, and manage strict deadlines contained in various contractual documents.
• Conduct targeted searches with the Registraire des entreprises, Land Register, and Infolot.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of documentary processes within business administration.
• Perform document scanning and ensure compliant filing of electronic and physical records.
Qualifications
• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Legal Techniques or equivalent education related to business administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the legal or commercial real estate field.
• Fluency in French and expert-level English required for daily out-of-province communications.
• Demonstrate exceptional rigor and strong organizational skills in managing business administration priorities.
• Show resourcefulness and a strong sense of initiative on a daily basis.
• Possess strong analytical skills to evaluate the implications of commercial real estate contracts.
• Display a collaborative team spirit to work effectively across departments.
