Our client, is seeking an experienced, tech-forward Localization Project Coordinator (Integrations, Intake & AI Enabled Operations) to join their global translation and technology division.
...
In this intermediate, execution-focused role, you will partner directly with the AI & Localization Program Lead to support intake management, platform integration mapping, and operational execution across automated and AI-enabled initiatives. Acting as the primary operational extension of leadership, you will translate strategic direction into structured technical workflows, track milestones across global time zones, and ensure localization requests progress smoothly from submission to production. This role is built for a localization professional with a technical mindset who is eager to optimize automated workflows.
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Core Focus: Intake Lifecycle Management, Platform Integrations (TMS/CMS), and AI-Enabled Operations
Advantages
Bleeding-Edge Tech Portfolio: Gain high-value, enterprise experience working directly on localization programs that integrate advanced AI, automation, and machine translation workflows.
Strategic Leadership Visibility: Act as the direct operational right-hand to the Program Lead, driving visibility and structural governance across global business lines.
Comprehensive Integration Scope: Deepen your knowledge of enterprise technical architecture by documenting middleware connections linking translation management systems (TMS) with content repositories (CMS).
Long-Term Contract Security: Enjoy the stability of a foundational 1-year contract within a highly innovative, modern tech sandbox.
Responsibilities
Intake Process Management & Documentation
Pipeline Governance: Operationalize the end-to-end localization intake-to-delivery lifecycle, validating completeness, preparing technical summaries, and tracking prioritization matrices against the macro roadmap.
Workflow Architecture: Document and maintain comprehensive intake workflows, decision logs, standard operating procedures, and role-responsibility handoffs.
Ticket Transformation: Translate raw intake business submissions into crisp, trackable technical requirements and engineering tickets.
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
Milestone Tracking: Coordinate active localization streams once approved, monitoring multi-layered milestones, integration dependencies, project risks, and action items across parallel squads.
Proactive Triaging: Actively audit project health to identify scope gaps or unclear requirements early, flagging issues before they impact launch velocities.
Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management
System Mapping: Document localization platform integrations, API touchpoints, and system interactions between Translation Management Systems (TMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), and internal infrastructure.
Multi-Audience Synthesis: Ensure all technical and functional documentation is structured perfectly for both engineering squads and non-technical business stakeholders.
Meeting Facilitation & Performance Reporting
Global Synchronization: Schedule and lead discovery, planning, and delivery checkpoints across highly matrixed, global time zones. Capture structured minutes and follow up on cross-vendor deliverables.
Dashboard Ownership: Maintain real-time project trackers and automated intake status dashboards, providing data-driven progress reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Localization Expertise (Must-Have): 3 to 6 years of progressive professional experience inside localization, globalization, or translation operations.
Workflow Proficiency: Strong operational understanding of standard translation workflows, intake gates, vendor networks, Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, and Translation Management System (TMS) platforms.
Technical & AI Mindset: Highly comfortable with conceptual technical architecture, including systems integration, APIs, and automated middleware data routing.
AI Tool Integration: Practical experience utilizing modern Generative AI tools or automated machine translation workflows, combined with a highly curious, optimization-oriented mindset.
Coordination & Documentation: Proven track record coordinating cross-functional technical projects. Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on producing clean, structured documentation.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Practical familiarity navigating project collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
Specific experience supporting intake models, platform transformation frameworks, or automated content deployment pipelines.
Background operating within large, multi-region corporate infrastructures.
Summary
