Responsibilities
Transportation Coordination
Arrange and schedule land transportation (trucks) for inbound and outbound shipments.
Book delivery appointments with client reception teams.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Client Invoicing
Verify shipment quantities and delivery confirmations.
Create accurate invoices for clients based on verified data.
Coordinate with sales and finance teams to ensure billing accuracy and timeliness.
Cost Optimization
Evaluate transportation rates and services.
Select the most cost-effective and reliable carriers based on location and delivery requirements.
Maintain relationships with freight companies and negotiate rates as needed.
Invoice & Payment Processing
Verify transportation and logistics-related invoices from service providers.
Verify billing accuracy against shipments and resolve any discrepancies.
Administrative Support
Maintain transportation records and shipping documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, customer service) to align shipping timelines with business needs.
Support warehouse teams with logistics-related tasks.
Qualifications
Previous experience in logistics, or transportation coordination 2-3 years
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or logistics systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual English/French
