Responsibilities
- Diagnose logistic flows (road transport, depot supply logistics, distribution to customers...).
- Contribute to the digital transition project from transport to procurement.
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to achieve them (reduction of empty miles, optimization of delivery schedules...).
- Establish performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for operations.
- Produce regular analyses and recommendations for management.
- Ensure performance monitoring and agreements with external partners.
- Monitor and implement technological and regulatory developments in the field of hazardous materials transport in collaboration with the existing team.
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
- College or university degree in logistics, transport, operations management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics optimization in a distribution or transportation environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (advanced Excel, TMS, Power BI, modeling tools).
- French (spoken and written), English (asset);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledge of the energy sector or hazardous materials (asset).
- Knowledge of hazardous materials transport regulations (TDG, environmental standards) (asset).
- Project management experience (PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification) (asset).
- Sought-after skills: Autonomy and initiative, effective communication, analytical mindset, professional rigor, priority management, planning and organization, results-oriented.
