Responsibilities
Keep Things Moving: Schedule and coordinate trucking for inbound and outbound freight to ensure pipes are delivered on time.
Be the Point of Contact: Chat with customers, drivers, and suppliers via phone and email to resolve shipping issues quickly.
Problem Solve: Follow up with drivers who are running behind and find solutions to get them back on track.
Stay Organized: Handle essential paperwork, including data entry, filing, scanning, and inventory control support.
Build Relationships: Maintain a reliable base of trucking carriers for new and existing accounts.
Reporting: Prepare accurate updates for management to keep the business running smoothly using Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications
Reliable & Committed: You have a history of staying with employers and are looking for a long-term fit.
Tech-Savvy: You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and can pick up new software platforms quickly.
Composed Under Pressure: You can handle a high volume of calls and busy situations without breaking a sweat.
Proactive: You take initiative, work well independently, and are always willing to learn.
Knowledgeable: You have a basic understanding of transportation regulations in Canada and the USA.
