Responsibilities
- Coordinating shipping, receiving, and delivery schedules with suppliers and transport companies
- Maintaining inventory records accurately while collaborating with internal teams to forecast demand and plan for future sourcing needs
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and delivery schedules with suppliers and transport companies
- Ensuring compliance is followed according to industry policies and procedures
- Generating reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and inventory status for management to review
- Resolving delivery and shipment issues promptly while maintaining documentation and records of all purchasing and logistics activities
- Supporting with other day to day operations as needed
Qualifications
- Proven 3 to 5 years experience as a Logistics Coordinator
- Strong understanding of vendor management principles and practices
- Proficient in using SAP and MRP software, Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and make data-driven decisions, while collaborating with other team members
