Advantages

- Located in St Bruno
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (flexible)
- Salary dependent on experience

Responsibilities
- Ensure the management of import/export transport and customs, as well as compliance with customs
- Manage the performance of carriers in order to minimize our costs without compromising quality and service
- Negotiate transport rates and select the best forwarder in terms of lead time and cost, secure the best carrier (cost and service) for on-time delivery
- Follow-up on containers and LCL (Less than Container Load) after order pick-ups
- Reserve space on ship or plane and secure truck to load container
- Carry out all investigations into the causes of transport penalties
- Prepare all shipment documents (packing lists, commercial invoices, COIs, POs, etc)

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role related to domestic and international logistics (Imports/Exports); such as Freight Forwarding
- Fluently bilingual (French and English)
- Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft, WMS, Solochain, Navision
- Experience with customs regulations (FDS, CBSA, etc)
- CIFFA and ICS certifications is a major asset
