Responsibilities
- Coordinate and preparation of the truckers' schedule.
- Closely monitor the trailer inventory board as well as the Geotab internal transport system.
- Ensure the proper loading and unloading of trailers
- Coordinate the entire fleet of trucks, trailers, and drivers, as well as route planning in conjunction with the supervisor.
- Scheduling of logistical tasks and organization of customer deliveries.
- Preparation of unloading sheets, delivery slips, and U.S. and Canadian customs documentation.
- Monitor truck and trailer maintenance in conjunction with the supervisor and manage weigh scale operations.
- Comply with SAAQ transport standards and legislation as well as OHS (SST) rules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in logistics or dispatch, preferably with a cross-border experience (asset)
- Bilingual French and English (dealing with USA customers)
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize
- A true team player who is willing to learn and adapt
