This person will lead and coordinate the shipment of frozen food commodities from North America to global markets worldwide. This role oversees the complete export supply chain cycle; from booking reefer containers, to gathering and generating export documentation and invoicing clilents, to tracking the ontime delivery to clients worldwide. Responsibilities
Manage container and truckload shipments from order confirmation to final delivery
Coordinate with suppliers, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and customs brokers
Prepare and validate all shipping and customs documents based on regulatory destination requirements
Track shipments, resolve delays, and communicate updates to customers and internal teams
Ensure quality and labeling compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
Negotiate freight and warehousing rates and maintain updated records in internal systems
Support month-end close with invoice tracking, shipment reconciliation, and inventory reporting
The role would be Export Container Shipments A-Z (FCA-CFR) Truck, Ocean, Regulatory Documents, Scheduling
North America to Rest of World (Asia, Europe, South America) and some Rest of World to Rest of World (ex/Europe to Asia)
Qualifications
3+ years of Ocean logistics experience, preferably in perishable or frozen food commodities.
DEC (Required) and or BAC (Considred an asset)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is considered an asset •
English spoken with a functional French
Understanding of Incoterms, international shipping, and customs compliance
Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and resolve problems quickly
