We are looking for a transport logistics clerk to support the entire administrative aspect of this role. The position is in-person and we would like a person who has experience with export maritime transport. Responsibilities
- Ensures the accuracy of transportation rates used for invoicing
- Ensures prompt receipt of ocean bills of lading
- Ensures complete invoicing of sales and supporting export documentation for clients. The employee must request and follow up with third parties to obtain the certificates required for clients
- Ensures shipment follow-up until final loading on vessels
- Maintains constant communication with customers, service providers, and other department members
- Approves invoices from various suppliers
Qualifications
- Bilingual French and English (required)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role / logistics / imports or exports
- Strong administrative skills and computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus
