Responsibilities
• Ensure the smooth and continuous supply of the production line to guarantee the full efficiency of daily operations.
• Analyze the calculated needs of the assembly line, place the appropriate orders, and maintain constant follow-up with various suppliers, both local and international.
• Negotiate delivery frequencies, transportation conditions, and packaging methods directly with suppliers to optimize procurement.
• Determine effectivity points to drastically minimize obsolescence, and take concrete actions to control inventory levels to avoid any shortages.
• Analyze the impact of adding or modifying new parts, calculate the latest deadlines for their introduction, and determine the necessary system parameters.
• Ensure rigorous tracking of part returns and repairs, while issuing critical corrective action requests related to logistics.
Qualifications
• You hold a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Business Administration, ideally with a specialization in logistics management, procurement, industrial management, or production operations.
• You are fully fluent in both French and English (bilingualism is essential) in order to collaborate and communicate effectively with our many suppliers based in the United States and internationally.
• You have relevant, hands-on work experience acquired directly within the manufacturing industry.
• You demonstrate strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel, and are generally comfortable using MRP-type manufacturing systems.
• You are recognized for your dynamism, great agility, ability to manage change completely autonomously, and your detail-oriented analytical mindset.
• You excel at working under pressure, consistently demonstrate excellent judgment, and communicate transparently and effectively within your team.
