Permanent full time Monday to Friday, day shift, flexible hours
Salary based on experience between 75k and 85k
Insurance package covered 60% by employer
RSP program with 3% match
3 weeks vacation + additional personal days
Yearly bonus program
Responsibilities
Supervise all import and export trucking operations
Prepare and verify essential shipping documents, including commercial invoices, customs documents, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
Negotiate rates and service contracts with transportation partners and local carriers.
Act as the primary point of contact for customs brokers
Verify the accuracy of all products shipped and received against purchase orders, shipping documents, and inventory records, while documenting and investigating any damaged or missing freight.
Manage and resolve transportation errors, delays, claims, and more.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics with a solid knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and warehouse coordination.
* Strong ability to manage multiple shipping schedules and meet deadlines.
* Proven experience with Excel, Word, ERP, and WMS systems (an asset).
* Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent prioritization abilities.
* High level of accuracy in documentation, data entry, and shipment verification against orders and inventory.
