This permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) day job will give you the opportunity to manufacture essential parts for cutting-edge industrial packaging equipment. Your expertise in conventional machining and your technical skills in mechanical manufacturing are essential and will be given priority over your qualifications.

Responsibilities
As a Conventional Machinist in Ville Saint-Laurent, Montreal, you will play a key role in the manufacture and maintenance of our industrial packaging equipment. Your main responsibilities will include:
-Design and manufacture precision parts for our equipment.
-Set up and operate various conventional machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, rotors, circular saws, sanders and grinders.
-Repair and adjust dies and production tools to ensure they are working properly.
-Read, understand and interpret technical drawings and sketches to guide your work.
-Ensure quality control of your own parts, guaranteeing their compliance with specifications.
-Master the use of precision imperial measuring tools (vernier callipers, micrometers, etc.) for accurate measurements.
-Carry out all other relevant and related tasks, including dent removal and assembly, as required.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, here are the qualifications we're looking for in our future conventional machinist:
-A DEP in machining, training in machining on conventional machine tools, or equivalent expertise in mechanical manufacturing.
-5-10 years' relevant experience in conventional machining.
-Ability to communicate in French and technical English.
