We are seeking a Maintenance Millwright to join their North York facility. This is a role for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a lean manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping complex machinery running at peak performance.
Shift - Day Shift
Location - North York, ON
Pay Rate - $40/hr

Responsibilities
System Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, and specialized machinery including roll forming machines, punch presses, shears, and welding equipment.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed inspections and damage assessments to identify why equipment failed and implement long-term solutions.
Electrical & Mechanical Support: Execute mechanical repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Safety Leadership: Strictly uphold Life Saving Rules, including LOTO, machine guarding, and PIT safety protocols to ensure a zero-harm environment.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and assist in training Maintenance Mechanic trainees to elevate team performance.
Qualifications
Certification: Valid Millwright (433A) License or documented proof of being an active apprentice nearing completion.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing plant. Experience specifically with roll forming and fabrication is a significant asset.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude paired with electrical problem-solving capabilities.
Communication: Fluent in English (written and oral) with the ability to document repairs and communicate effectively across departments.
Physicality: Ability to remain mobile and on your feet for the duration of the shift in a fast-paced environment.
Attributes: A self-motivated "individual contributor" who also excels in a team setting; someone who is eager to learn and meet tight deadlines.
